When and Where is the Midwest Rampage?
The Midwest Rampage is being held on May 19th & 20th, 2012. Space will also be available for open gaming on the evening of May 20th. We are trying to add some actual Friday evening events, but that is still tentative at this time.
The tournament will be held at the following location:
Just For Fun
3010 N Sterling Ave
Peoria IL 61615

Registration for the Midwest Rampage is being done in two parts this year. There is a $20.00 registration fee to me, due by April 1st, 2012. On the weekend of the tournament, a $25.00 Product Buy-In must be made at Just For Fun (ie, you spend $25 at the store on merchandise to complete your registration). These fees cover costs of putting on the event (plaques, copies, etc) and also cover the associated cost of us occupying the store for the weekend. This is a new thing for the Rampage but all the shops out here in the Portland area do their tournies this way and it works very well, as well as making sure the hosting store covers their costs. Registration fees paid to me after April 1st are $25.00. Full payment details are available here
Army Lists are due by May 1st. If you do not have your army list in by May 1st, you will not receive the Gentleman Gamer points for list in on time. Anyone not registering until after May 1st should be prepared to submit their list as soon as they sign up for the event.
Getting your payment and your list in on time gains you the benefit of not having to cough up extra cash, it also gets you Gentleman Gamer Points for being extra groovy and making the Organizer's life easier.
There are 40 slots available for the tournament. If all 40 are filled, a waiting list will be started and we will see about adding extra tables. Your spot is officially held once you are registered and you have sent your $20 registration to me.
